Winter Path, Tayfield
The small Tayfield Estate with its mature trees and two ponds sits behind Newport. There is usually something to photograph whatever the weather. Among the resident ducks and swans at home on the water, there is a heronry in the high branches. If you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of a Kingfisher or two.
